This dramatic landscape captures the grandeur and scale of the dolomite mountains, which was a constant awe-inspiring backdrop during a trip taken by Matthew in 2017 to Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy. The layering of the lines and jagged features in the painting bring to life both the forces of nature at play and age of this impressive mountain range.
